Ramadan Moon NOT sighted! —
The High Judiciary Council of Saudi Arabia has announced that the first day of Ramadan will be on Thursday 17th May 2018 as the new moon was NOT sighted. In accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ “Fast when you see the crescent (of Ramadan). If it is obscured to you, then complete 30 days of Sha’baan. [Bukhari].
Insha’Allah Isha Salah will be at the fixed time of 11.25pm throughout Ramadan and Taraweeh prayers will follow. As with every year we ask our attendees to park considerately, not causing disruption to our neighbours. To keep the toilets and Wudu area clean and tidy after use and to respect other worshippers in the Mosque by keeping noise and conversation to a minimum.
